Beck Veitch likes visual problem solving. She is a film compositor with 5 years experience in the VFX industry, and also a digital and print designer.

As a compositor, she most recently worked at Animal Logic working on Alex Proyas’ film ‘Knowing’. Previous to working in Sydney, Beck worked in Adelaide with Rising Sun Pictures and has contributed to such films as ‘Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince’, ‘Speed Racer’, ‘Get Smart’, ‘28 Weeks Later’ and ‘Charlotte’s Web’.

Getting her start in furniture and jewellery design, Beck eventually got sucked in to print and multimedia. She enjoys designing arty websites for creative types. Beck started off doing a teaching degree in visual arts (it was the only way to try each of the fantastic studio areas at Melbourne Uni!). While she loved teaching, Beck decided secondary schools weren’t for her. She now teaches the odd compositing course at aftrs.
